Looking to recruit Naval Architect based in Copenhagen

Swire Blue Ocean is currently looking to recruit:  

Naval Architect or Offshore Engineer based in our Copenhagen office

As Naval Architect or Offshore Engineer, you shall provide engineering and engineering management in relation to Swire Blue Ocean projects.
You will be assigned to projects where you will be responsible for all engineering. You will be involved in all technical aspects of the project during tender stage, planning phase, execution and demobilisation.

Key duties are:
Engineering management on assigned projects

Communication with all stakeholders internally and externally during project execution, e.g. Vessel crew, Clients, Suppliers, Marine Warranty Surveyors and Authorities

Optimization of project execution and vessel utilisation

General Naval Architecture

Technical drawings

Structural assessments

Involved in vessel modifications and optimisations

Preferred profile:
A BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering or equivalent degree

>4 years of experience within General Naval Architecture from Ship owner, Consultant, Yard, Class or other relevant Employer

Engineering and project management

Ship design

Structural assessment

Technical drawing (AutoCAD and Inventor)

You demonstrate good communication - and interpersonal skills as well as having a positive non-judgemental approach. Furthermore, you have a cooperative team-oriented attitude coupled with the ability to adapt and adjust to business requirements.

You will be referring directly to the SBO Manager – Offshore Projects.
