Congrats to Bilfinger with completing Sandbank foundation installation

Bilfinger today have safely and successfully installed the 72 Monopiles and TPs with installation vessel Pacific Orca.

Each monopole has a diameter of 6 m and a length of up to 70 m. The longest piles weigh 900 T.

Sandbank Offshore Wind GmbH is a joint venture between Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH and Stadtwerke München GmbH.

This 288 MW wind farm is located in the German North Sea, approx. 90 km off the island of Sylt.
