Auriane Buffet, Technical Sales Engineer at Cadeler, former Student Assistant

I had a very progressive and smooth integration into my different roles and was surrounded by nice and professional colleagues. I enjoyed working in small teams, as it enabled me to have a broad spectrum of tasks and a dynamic working relation with others.

Questions?

School: DTU (Technical University of Denmark) and Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France)

Degree: Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering.

Internship: Auriane joined our company in March 2019 as a Student Assistant, supporting the Sales Department in tasks such as processing market studies, developing scheduling tools for projects and technical templates for tenders.

“This experience introduced me to the offshore wind industry and the career opportunities it offers. I was surprised by the variety of positions a mechanical engineer could acquire when I joined the Sales Department.”

Permanent position: After graduation in August 2019, Auriane was hired as Graduate Engineer and promoted Technical Sales Engineer five months later. She works on the technical feasibility of tenders, demonstrating our capacity to deliver a project on a technical point of view.
