On 10 April the first turbine on DanTysk Offshore Wind Farm was installed from the Pacific Osprey. The DanTysk OWF will in the end consist of 80 Siemens 3.6MW wind turbines giving a total output of 288 MW.
Pacific Osprey is able to transport up to 11 WTG for each installation trip and can transit fully loaded in up to 3m significant wave height. With its 1200mt crane and high capacity jacking system designed for offshore wind farms the Pacific Osprey is expected to have a turn-around time throughout the summer of 2-3 weeks for a full installation trip. The first turbine was installed in only 16 hrs.
