The fact that the Pacific Osprey anchored in Odense, I took the opportunity to invite my team to visit one of the biggest installation vessels in Denmark. Enjoy reading this travel report written by my Assistant, Elvira, and follow her on board the Pacific Osprey.

At 8:20 in the morning my colleagues and I were sitting in the coach heading for Odense. Everybody was already excited to visit the Pacific Osprey, currently one of the biggest installation vessels which will be installing the turbines for our wind farm DanTysk in July, this year.
After four hours we reached the Fayard Shipyard with high expectation and in glorious sunshine. From the distance we could already see this impressive giant with its six long legs (105m high), anchored at the quay wall.
Compared to my height of 1,79m, I felt very small when I was standing in front of this technical masterpiece. Due to the fact that the vessel was jacked-up 1,5m above the water surface, the different ships propellers were seen clearly at the bow and stern.
How many litres of paint must they have used for the coating of this vessel?
