Jacob Heinricy Jensen, SBO’s Chief Operations Officer, will make a presentation titled “Taking safety beyond procedures and check list thinking” during the Global Safety Culture session taking place the 27th of November in the Safety, Skills Training Zone from 10:00 – 11:15.
Jacob Heinricy Jensen is a recent addition to the Swire Blue Ocean team. He joined the Company in July 2019 as Head of HSEQ but was soon after promoted as Chief Operations Officer. Jacob has over 22 years of experience as QHSE professional with over 10 years dedicated in the oil & gas industry where he worked with a very high standard of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. He has previously acted as the Head of QHSE for both DONG Energy Oil & Gas and INEOS Oil & Gas Denmark, and his decision to join Swire Blue Ocean brings with it a significant transfer of knowledge from the oil & gas industry to offshore wind. Jacob is driven to improve QHSE performance and safety culture and has dedicated his career to the creation of an incident free work place.
SBO Project Engineer, Can Mollaibrahimoglu, will present a poster titled “Numerical Modelling of Spudcan Penetration For Offshore Installations” (poster PO095) visible all three days in the poster area. Can will be available to answer your questions during poster sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 26th and 27th of November from 15:30 to 16:15.
Can Mollaibrahimoglu joined Swire Blue Ocean A/S (SBO) two years ago and is currently responsible for engineering design, calculations and QA for projects as well as analysing site-specific risks and assisting the Sales team on tenders. Prior to SBO, Can studied Civil Engineering at The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with a focus on Offshore Engineering, and wrote a Master's thesis titled Numerical Modelling of Spudcan Penetration for Offshore Installations. During his thesis, Can performed both numerical analysis and implemented conventional methods to investigate the bearing capacity of jack-up vessel spudcans under large deformations.
